ADHD & Procrastination
Coaching

Amsterdam • Almere • Online | English • German

You know exactly what to do. But you just can’t get yourself to do it.

You start important things at the last minute — even when you genuinely care about them. Routines don’t stick, everything feels urgent, and “trying harder” only works for a few days. You’re stressed, overwhelmed, and frustrated that you’re not living up to your potential.

You’re not undisciplined or lazy. You just haven’t yet found ways of working that truly fit your brain.

I'm an ADHD & Procrastination Coach offering online and in-person sessions in Amsterdam and Almere. Together, we figure out what keeps getting in your way and experiment with practical methods to help you follow through on what matters without stress, guilt, or last-minute panic. Whether you are neurodivergent (e.g. ADHD and autism) or simply find that mainstream productivity advice has never worked for you, we’ll figure out what does (no diagnosis needed).

Does this sound familiar?

You might recognize situations like these:

  • You open your laptop to start... and a few hours later you are still sitting there, waiting to build up enough pressure to finally get going.
  • You make a plan for the week, but by the afternoon it’s already falling apart.
  • You avoid small admin tasks until they become mini-crises.
  • You start new routines with enthusiasm, but they disappear the moment life gets busy.
  • You keep buying new apps and planners in an attempt to regain control.
  • You feel guilty for not doing “simple” things like laundry, taxes, or replying to someone.

Instead of listening to the resistance, most people try to push through it — because the world keeps telling us it should be possible that way.

Why "just try harder" doesn't work

Most productivity advice assumes that once you know what to do, you should be able to make yourself do it. But knowing and doing are not the same thing.

People differ in how easily they can get started, prioritize, switch between tasks, stay focused, organize themselves and follow through — skills often grouped under the term executive functioning. So if you’ve tried harder, made better plans, downloaded more apps, and still ended up stuck, adding even more pressure probably isn’t the answer.

Instead of trying harder, we find ways of working that make it easier for you to follow through without relying on pressure.

How we work together

During coaching, I will help you find the best way of working for you. Together, we will:

  • notice patterns that keep repeating
  • explore where you are getting stuck and why
  • experiment with small, realistic changes
  • reflect on what works and what doesn't
  • build practical ways of working that fit your life and your natural patterns

Sometimes we'll work with practical tools like routines, planning or habit design. Sometimes we'll explore deeper patterns, beliefs or expectations that stand in your way. Over time, you build a way of working you can actually keep using when coaching ends.

We might work on things like:

  • Starting and finishing big projects — a thesis, PhD, portfolio, creative project or work you've been putting off
  • Building routines that actually stick — study, workouts, chores, or self-care
  • Making progress on long term goals that keep getting postponed
  • Changing stubborn habits you’ve tried to break many times
  • Understanding avoidance patterns like resistance, perfectionism, or shame

Why work with me?

I’ve been there myself. I spent years trying to get started, failing to keep routines, and feeling frustrated that “simple” things felt so hard. I was diagnosed with ADHD and had to learn how to work with my brain instead of punishing myself for not fitting generic advice.

Alongside my coaching education, I have a background in scientific research. Experimenting and iterating is a natural part of how I work. Every attempt gives us information. An approach that doesn’t work simply brings us closer to one that does.
